I don't know if the principal was justified in his actions. I doubt it tho - over the student refusing to hand over a cell phone?

But as someone in the article says:

Apparently the student was taking innapropriate photos of girls.

As long as it matters that the principal was black, we will always have a problem.

Ask his black supporters who were demonstrating. If this was a white principal and a black student, you can bet those same demonstrators would be out there calling for his nuts.

The Principal didn't hit him... just kept the guy in a choke hold so he could not fight back.

The kid pushed the principal, principal restrainted the kid, never hit the kid. I don't see what the problem is, I don't see why this is a racial issue.

If teachers can't get away with this, I don't see how they can safely do their job.

Always nice to have the support of your boss, and that he / she behaves to protect sensitive information

I wouldn't blame her entirely. No, she shouldn't have given her husband her password, but come on - how many of us have done the same thing. You trust that your spouse isn't going to do anything malicious with your private/personal information (after all, if you can't trust your spouse, who can you trust?), and unfortunately, sometimes people get burned.

Meh, the real juice is the source of the leak. Namely the chair of the school boards husband. I think she should lose her job and perhaps get a divorce.

Oh no, not this issue again.....now with the race card.
