Iran's navy offers to escort Gaza ships

hehe, this would end well. I sure hope they don't, whether they succeed or fail doesn't matter, it just would escalate things beyond any kind of desirable situation. Israel might capitulate for that reason, if they don't I don't think Iran would be able to continue for long due to the supply logistics alone, nevermind whether their Navy is capable or not. Then there is the fact that Israel has easy Air Support/Superiority due to proximity. If the Iranian Navy were to decide, I'm sure they wouldn't even entertain the idea and this would be an idea purely entertained by clueless Politicians.

Great. More fire onto the middle eastern powder-keg. The last thing we need is a clash between the Iranian's and the Israeli's. If it comes to blows between Israel and Iran I can foresee it becoming a regional conflict with several other nations becoming involved in short order, this is a no-win scenario.

This is just another Ahmadinejad's stupid publicity stunt. Although he is a buffoon but he is wise enough not to do this. He is only trying to gain some attention which has been stolen by Turkey. This would be great fun to see such a showdown but we will not be that lucky

Well the escort would be perfectly legal in international waters, however once they reach Isreali territorial waters then either the Iranians have to put up or shut up. Since they are responsible for most of the hot air in the Middle East it's pretty obvious they'll run with their tails between their legs.
