Dutchman Van der Sloot Confesses to Slaying in Lima

I guess that's the diff between the Peruvian and Dutch (Aruba) police. The Peruvians probably kicked him around a bit until he talked.

Why is it OK to call him a Dutchman, but if he was Chinese and the headline read Chinaman the howling would reach the heavens. He's a Dutch man.

Don't forget he confessed to killing Natalee Holloway too, and retracted it.

I don't really know what to think of the media coverage tho. Don't get me wrong, as far as I am concerned, hang this guy by his balls. Still, the media said he bought that laptop a few days (or even a day) prior to her murder. If that is true, how was there info on there about Natalee Holloway? How coincidental is it that a poker buddy, who claims he is definitely no friend of his, directed the cops to his hotelroom, that apparently hadn't been cleaned for 2 days, and not paid for, according to the owner of the hotel?

I wouldn't believe a word Joran vd Sloot says. It is proven to be bs most of the times anyway. Please just go by the evidence that you have, and not by his confession...
