Iran has dug mass graves in which to bury U.S. troops in case of any American attack on the country, a commander of the elite Revolutionary Guard said Tuesday, warning that a military strike would spark an "extensive war" in the region.

Sounds just like those "Hitler-Like Tactics" Ahmadinejad accused his opponents of using, just before he supposedly hijacked the June 2009 presidential elections in Iran.

Methinks the Iranians will need the mass graves for themselves if the US ever does attack.

The US had better take heed.

Iran man just as nutter as they come but it would be big mistake and a PR disaster at home and abroad if they do attack and not as easy as Iraq and Afganistan. weakened by a decade of sanctions or some nutjobs running around in the mountains

An Iranian sub is just an expensive hole in the water.

The Kilos were bought in the 90s, and who knows how up to date they are. The Ghadirs are Yugo knockoffs and are a glorified mini-sub.

All better known as Mk 48 sponges...

True, pretty outdated stuff. But I don't think a military move is the solution but rather insider support to the growing number of its population who is sick and tired of the mullah run govts.

And even if not, I believe that people will eventually win sooner or later and get rid of these fools. They are growing in numbers everyday and wish them best of luck.

Don't forget that the same kind of folks bragging up these subs once told us all how the Iraqi Republican Guards were going to massacre tens of thousands of US and allied troops back in 1991.

The truth is that outside of a few countries, most militaries are neglected by their governments and the troops are ill-prepared to fight well-equipped and highly trained troops.

If the Iranians get into a shooting war with the USA I give it about three weeks before US troops occupy Tehran.

Yep, this sort of topic brings out the military wankers. Of course the US, even in it's present weakened state could defeat Iran pretty quickly. But it would be a pyrrhic victory, so there'd better be a real compelling reason to do so. Plus they'd probably have to go to China to ask if they'll lend them the money for it.

My personal belief is moral and conviction are the deciding factor. If your really convinced and strongly believe in what your fight for then even a rag tag bunch of bandits can put a good fight and but if your just some poor sod putting in time for a paycheck ..........

The Name of that area should be changed from The Islamic Republic of Iran to the The Iranian Hospital for the Criminally Insane.

That's your explanation for two successive US victories over the Iraqis? Why, thank you.
