Is there a "do not mail" list?

Ever since I cut my ties with them, I must get publicity at least once a week, begging me to come back.

So who are they paying this to? The government? Will that lower our taxes or raise our phone bills because now every telecom company has to cover their asses?

As long as they're not handing out the DNCL to third party phone solicitors then those telecom companies won't have to worry about covering anything.

I've heard today at the radio that the government send the numbers on the Do-Not-Call list to the telemarketers by telling them "don't call those numbers !!!". What do you think the telemarketers do with all those numbers ?

It's like giving hundreds of thousands emails to a spammer...

The telemarketers phone from numeric lists. ITheir list may start at 555 1234, then they dial 555 1235, 555 1236, 555 1237........so on and so forth, Sometimes they dial numbers not in operation, unlisted numbers and numbers on DNC lists

Only one thing to do, if you're on the DNC list and a telemarketer calls you, report them.

There was 345 000 complains since the list went on. Actually, people on the list said they had more calls since they subscribed. That's proving the point.

The DNCL was leaked a while a go to spammers I hear. People on cells that never got calls suddenly got them after they signed up. Can't confirm for certian. As for bell they will just up their rates to make up for the fine and call it a service fee.
