An 18-year-old arsonist behind a massive fire in Osoyoos, B.C. that gutted two businesses says he was just trying to help the owners of a struggling thrift shop collect insurance money.

Wow, an arsonist and someone who is prone to insurance fraud. At least the fraud wasn't for his own personal gain, which isn't much of a consolation.
