A bill to force internet service providers to collect customer information, known as the lawful access or online surveillance bill, will cost at least $80 million to implement, CBC News has learned.

    It sounds like, if in fact this bill is passed and implemented, internet costs to the user are going to go way up.

    So the projected cost overrun will be around $30 billion.

    Upside: The government will have a better excuse as to why you folks don't have much for a navy. :?
