While I can be as partisan as the next guy, this is just ridiculous.
If they want more tweets in French, then they should hire a staffer or two to write them for him. It's not realistic to expect that someone who isn't fluent in French is going to tweet in it.
I can speak some German, Japanese and Chinese, but I never tweet in anything but English.

You really think Baird or any other pol or VIP writes his own tweets? They have people to do that for them. Maybe he has a private account, but then I bet it doesn't have his name attached anywhere in case he says something stupid.
