Among their concerns are whether people would accurately judge the amount of alcohol they have consumed with a powdered product (HELL NO), whether it would be easier to sneak Palcohol into a public event (HELL YES), and whether it would be abused by minors (HELL YES),

But these are all prices I'm willing to let others pay!! Can't wait to try it!!Should be approved for use in Canada by the year 2065.

I don't see the appeal, the only thing you're "saving" in the powder is the alcohol itself, not the taste. It's not as if you have instant whisky or wine. Sure, the company will add "taste" to the stuff, but it won't be the same. It will probably taste like the real thing as instant coffee tastes like coffee.

Nobody drinks booze for the taste.

I drink alcoholic beverages because I like the beverages. The presence of alcohol in them enhances the experience, for sure but the beverage itself is still my primary objective.

This powder sounds rather like sex with yourself.

Not true, I don't drink to get drunk, so I must be drinking for the taste.

My point exactly. This substance must have been invented by an Anglais, n'est-ce pas?

Ever asked a non-drinker why they dont drink? Same fucking answer every time. You go, why dont you drink? And they go, I dont like the taste of it.

Nobody does. No one likes the taste of it, but we drink because we fucking have to. No one has ever had a shot of tequila and gone, oh, thats lovely. Next time, Ill have that instead of pudding, its so moreish. We drink because lifes shit and you gotta do whatever you can to get through the fucking day.

I did, once I grew up a bit. I barely drink anymore because I've lost enjoyment for most booze.
