    Good news, I'd say.

It's far better than no deal.

How long until the deal breaks down?

I disagree, a bad deal may be infinitely worse than no deal.

"limits on Iran's nuclear program so it cannot lead to atomic weapons, " sounds like a good deal, but time will tell. Without a deal (and a well crafted virus), it definitely would have led to a Nuclear Iran, and that is definitely a bad deal.

See CM's post above mine. The Iranian leadership cannot be trusted period, I think they will look at this as a green light to work towards their goal of nuclear weapons.

Obama is blinded by his hatred towards Netanyahu and general dislike of Israel that he is willing to make any deal with Israels enemies.

Not really. Keep in mind this is the same jackass who knowingly traded five terrorists for an Army deserter who's now facing desertion and treason charges.

I wouldn't trust them either, but the deal looks like it's monitored by the UN, so it may have that third party neutrality it needs to work. The damn article keeps changing, but there is a quote in there that 'if Iran cheats, the world will know about it' and 'Failure to comply with terms of the deal will cause those sanctions to "snap back into place".

Sounds like they are assuming Iran will cheat. Random UN inspections hinging on the return of sanctions if they pull an 'Iraq' like Saddam did to Hans Blix. Factoring that in means it may be a good deal.

    Perhaps I'm just the optimist.

Funny too, because the latest edit of the article includes quotes from Netanyahu:
"Any deal must significantly roll back Iran's nuclear capabilities and stop its terrorism and aggression," Netanyahu said on Twitter.

Yea, and a bag of Doritos too.

    Oh, you were serious. 8O

This is a bad deal done just to piss off Netanyahu by a shallow man. I predict in a few years Iran WILL have nuclear weapons and Obama will find a way to blame George Bush.

So far it looks like a good deal. What will scupper this deal is irrational fear and mistrust of Iran. Of course, the west has to be cautious when dealing, but to assume by default that they're going to be underhanded and cheat is folly.

Give them a chance. If they renege on the deal then all the war pigs can finally get their dicks hard at the prospect of sending other people's kids to die in a useless was. But if Iran really wants this deal to work, then this will end up being a historic deal.

It is Bush's fault. Back in the 2000's Iran was willing to start these negotiations. Bush and co.told them to go suck wind. Iran has less than 500 centrifuges then. Since then they added 20,000.

And Netanyahu needs to taught a lesson. He gets to do what he wants because of the Israel lobby and the spinelessness of the U.S. congress.

And the first blame tosser shows up.

I guess you had no issues with Obama trying to affect the outcome of Israels election as well. The messiah can do no wrong, correct?

    UN inspectors ?
You are forgetting Iran has been running circles around the IAEA for decades,
Iran will make Hans Blix and Saddam look astonishingly honest.

So much forgotten history, so little time to remind people.

The other issue, which none of you have thought about, is the nuclear race
that this deal will set off.

It was bad enough when Israel wouldn't come clean, but the US could keep other
Arab countries muzzled when it came time for nukes.

Now the US has completely failed in it's ME policy, the apology tour is in
tatters, the Magreb is on fire, and Obama just decided to turn a blind eye to the
biggest Sunni threat in the region, who just love to bankroll suicidal jihadis.

Any of you think the Sunnis are just going to sit back and NOT develop their own stuff ?
