Edmonton's Stantec Tower will be bigger than either Calgary's reigning champion, the 236-metre Bow, or Brookfield Place, the 247-metre, 56-storey structure that will supplant it when finished in 2017.

I work the 'the bow' and it really isn't that great, have the time something is broken, or never worked in the first place...

I can see much of the Edmonton skyline from my office, and the amount of construction is amazing!

I laugh when I notice a building for the first time, and it's like 20 or 30 stories. Way to pay attention, dumbass!

That's great and all, but I wish they would build something distinctive like this building proposed in Vancouver:
