According to the complaint, the investigation was prompted by a paid confidential informant who had attended meetings of a militia group and heard plans discussed plots to attack Muslims, "whom the group members refer to as 'cockroaches.'"

Guess that's the difference between Muslim terrorists and these kind of dumb-fuck white guys. At least the Muslims are smart enough to plan and prepare without blabbing about it to everyone they can. Or to attend meetings with dozens of other people talking about the same sort of things where they absolutely know that someone there is a FBI or ATF agent. In a country full of guns and other interesting things it can't be that hard to become a dedicated terrorist so I'll have to put it down to low IQ and a childish need to tell everyone what they were up to that led to these toolbags' downfall.

Um, yes it is a terrorist plot, if the mass shooting perpetrated by the psycho in Florida who pledged his loyal to Islamic State.

These sons of bitches were planning to commit mass murder against innocent civilians, many of them likely American citizens, to achieve a particular political and ideological aim. According to that terrorism.

The "Crusaders" are terrorists. Simple as that.

The “Crusaders” knew they wanted to kill Muslims — and with luck, use the “bloodbath” to ignite a religious war — but for months they couldn’t settle on a plan.

The easiest way would be to grab guns, go to the predominantly Somali-Muslim apartment complex they’d been surveilling and start kicking in doors, court documents said. They would spare no one, not even babies.

In the end, they decided to set off bombs similar to the one Timothy McVeigh used in 1995 to kill 168 people in Oklahoma City. They planned to strike after the Nov. 8 election, investigators said.

Curtis Allen, Gavin Wright and Patrick Eugene Stein face federal charges of conspiring to use a weapon of mass destruction to blow up an apartment complex, a mosque and Muslim immigrants from Somalia, the Department of Justice announced Friday.

The problem with claiming an equivalence there is that psycho actually did kill close to 50 people, didn't he?

What's alleged here is hateful talk, threats and plans. At present wouldn't this one be more like that other one where the Obama DOJ was looking for a right wing militia to nail in 2010.

Hutaree is a militia movement group adhering to the ideology of the Christian Patriot movement, based near Adrian, Michigan, in the United States. The group was formed in early 2006. The name "Hutaree" appears to be a neologism; the group's web site says that the name means "Christian warriors". The group became widely known in 2010 after the FBI prosecuted them in federal court for an alleged plan for violent revolt. The prosecution said this was to have involved killing a police officer and attacking the funeral with bombs. The presiding judge dismissed these charges. Three members pleaded guilty to possessing a machine gun and were sentenced to time served.

One would hope they have better evidence this time.

I suppose if we really need a Muslim terrorist group to compare this trial to though, this one might do. (Providing they're found guilty)

The 2006 Ontario terrorism case refers to the plotting of a series of attacks against targets in Southern Ontario, Canada, and the June 2, 2006, counter-terrorism raids in and around the Greater Toronto Area that resulted in the arrest of 14 adults and 4 youth (the "Toronto 18"). These individuals have been characterized as having been inspired by al-Qaeda.

They were accused of planning to detonate truck bombs, to open fire in a crowded area, and to storm the Canadian Broadcasting Centre, the Canadian Parliament building, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) headquarters, and the parliamentary Peace Tower to take hostages and to behead the Prime Minister and other leaders.

One would hope it doesn't turn out like the case against the Nuttal's in Victoria BC, where the couple became recent Islamic converts and wanted to blow up visitor's to the provincial parliament buildings with pressure cooker bombs, but were released, because a judge decided they'd been entrapped by police who pretended to help them set it up.

But no, this is one, as it stands, is not equivalent to Orlando or Nice or San Bernardino or any of the others on the lengthy list of successful Islamic terrorist murder sprees where "Allahu Akbar" was yodeled over the chaos.

If convicted, it would be plotting terrorism though.

But isn't that the circle you're jerking to?

"Ha ha, it's not just Muslims who can be terrorists"

In fact aren't your hands getting tired? (so to speak  )

The "Crusaders" are terrorists. Simple as that.Yeah, I guess you missed the sarcasm. I was mimicking the idiots who make the same claims whenever some Muslim mutts go off. They'll call it anything but what it is. IN fact, your example of the Pulse nightclub shooting is EXACTLY what I'm talking about. You'll notice the media didn't use the word terrorist in that instance while the left tried blaming everything except the shooter and his disgusting ideology.
So to sum up the leftard view, if you're white and get caught simply plotting an attack against Muslims, you're a terrorist. If you're a Muslim and you actually manage to kill 49 people at a gay nightclub, you're not a terrorist. Christ, the left practically treated him like HE was the victim. Yep, that poor, poor terrorist. If it hadn't been for the NRA, Republicans, Christians and law-abiding gun owners, he never would have shot up that nightclub. Or so the fucked up liberal narrative would have you believe.

The charges read like Domestic Terrorism which means these are Terrorist suspects and should be treated as such.
