It wasn't so much that Canadians were in the British units, but more that when the terms of service of these men was up they were given a plot of land to farm in Canada. This means that most of these men were the backbone of Canadian settlements.

I just got back from the MAtrix reloaded. After spending my hard earned money to go see what is billed at one of the top movies of the summer I am throughly dissapointed. I am not going to give anything away by ranting about particulars but personally, I feel let down on this one.

I love TPB! When I was posted in Halifax I lived in Dartmouth just behind the power plant stacks. Whenever I see those stacks in the shot I laugh my ass off. :lol:

I have to agree with Scooter. I have commented on this site before about the arrow. When I was just a young lad in Air Cadets I did a bunch of research about the arrow and the mini series was an incredible punch into Canadian history. It has some Fiction of course but was so well done. Peacekeepers ...

I think we have come across the stanley cup of unpredictability. it would seem that everything that everyone said would happen has gone to crap! Minnesota....in the second round....WHAT! Vancouver in the second round...thank god....WHAT...Things are definately getting interesting...That is for sure ...
