Just curious, did any government formally condemn the Abu Graib tortures and rape? Was anyone expected to? There is a lot more to these flagrant show condemnations, by some, than the outpooring of humanity that they would have you believe. Like, has any government condemned the violence and humiliat... |

It's been 7 years of complete failure even by the idiotic and often criminal ignorance of those who support this condoned occupation. Anyone thinking that furthering this beyond a 2011, as though continued failure equals success, is someone lost in military lust and aged beliefs in gun glory. Thankf... |

Yep, he holds elections alright. Too bad any serious opposition candidate is arrested and jailed before the election. The parlement is made up of a vast majority of his party's loyalists. Any opposition is dealt with harshly. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20081103/wl_nm/us_venezuela_electi... |

You cannot reason with this man. He is hell-bent on becoming the supreme dictator with control over everything. Last I heard he was the most democratically elected leader in the hemisphere. He holds nationals referendums of critical policy and maintains the will of populace to a degree many of our ... |

If the inverse were the case, and the state offered up a resource under national control for private bidding and enterprise, which is not capitalist even, I can't help but think you'd all be cheering what would be the same result. Whether you like this or not it is not even a Canadian state interest... |

Nice media. Elizabeth May has endlessly criticized our flawed voting system, the moment she says something of the NDP, NEWS! The real blame is a deeply flawed voting system. We, the supposed democratic participants of Canadian democracy, are the victims. All political parties should have this proble... |

It's not that bad. It says, "familiar Maple Leaf logo" and "Hockey Canada's trademark Maple Leaf with a hockey player". I just watched the '94 shoot-out on youtube and they didn't wear this logo. |
