The HMCS Chicoutimi, following her journey from Halifax, is rolled off MV Tern at the Esquimalt Graving Dock adjacent to CFB Esquimalt. The removal of the sub from the deck of the transport ship took over 3 hours and involved over 2 dozen people. The submarine will be refitted by the Canadian Submarine Maintenance Group (CSMG)
