What's the big deal? This is just another example of Conservatives wrapping themselves in the cloak of 'fiscal responsibility' and then spending like teenagers with their first credit card with the taxpayer footing the bill. The big deal is that the Conservatives have been abusing the parliamentary...

GreenTiger, You should be reading "Strange Fatality" about the Battle of Stoney Creek. Without a couple of propitious U.S. screwups and the actions of Major Charles Plenderleath, commanding officer of the 49th, the U.S. might well have rolled up Upper Canada after taking Fort George in 18...

Are there any reainactments of the war of 1812? I would suggest hold it somewhere else. If there isn't enough space cross the border and pretend it's the same battle. I think they do one in Kingston Ontario... Here's a list for this year and there's a link on that page for next year if you're game ...

So what're those alternatives you hold in such high esteem? Organizations of any sort where the owners and operators have liability for the actions of their organizations. The corporation is a form of business ownership that owes no such responsibility to the people they may harm. Great, so the onl...

Who're you referring to as bastions of efficiency if both corporation and government are inefficient? I never said. There are alternatives to both. So what're those alternatives you hold in such high esteem? We need a Conservative government every once in a while in this country to remind us why it...

You really shouldn't put words in peoples' mouths. I never suggested corporations were bastions of efficiency, in fact I'm on the record quite to the contrary Did you type this? But either way, government is an inefficient use of resources. When faced with a choice between using resources efficient...

Oh yeah, GM's a stunning example of resource efficiency alright. I'm sure the reply will be 'those damn unions' or some such. Harper and the Harris retreads were so Hell-bent on lopping-off taxes that they gave no consideration to what public services that would have to be cut back to live within th...

So they make a big deal out of the apology to a statement they didn't report? Does that make sense?

Uh....ya think maybe Harpoon was already eating crow before they had the chance? You honestly think that they wouldn't have reported the original drive-by slag on its own?

The U.S. has been so successful with their own war on drugs. Most successful. Why, in fact I don't think there's demand at all in the continental States for drugs anymore, is there? My recollection is that we're all just supposed to say "no", right? If it worked for Nancy, it's gotta work...
