Exactly why is CP so eager to lock the workers out? Are they working to rule? Haven't heard about it. If not, they negotiated for 9 months, they can keep negotiating. CP wants to lock them out now because it doesn't want the union to be in a position to strike come Christmas. Because anyone hired i...

It's great to have a self funded pension. But that's supposed to be ON TOP of CPP, OAS and your company pension, not the whole shebang. Just cuz it's a different times, you adapt. YOu don't give in.[/quote] Company pensions are a thing of the past which is why I have a self-funded pension. Nobody i...

It is in touch with reality. You're not. You can't get the shit they're bargaining for, because you're not in a union. You don't like them, cuz you don't know what they do or how they work and live in this dreamworld where the Boss is gonna make just so much profit, he'll trickle it down to you bec...

The posties got some really great contracts in the 70's, and are fighting to hang on to them. They do need to be flexible, but on the other hand, do we want to drive another group of workers into working at minimum wage? Nobody is asking anyone to work for minimum wage. In fact, there's a wage incr...

I get all my packages via courier, my bills via email, and all CP delivers is flyers. At Christmas, I send postcards via CP, and that's the totality of my use for them. They made themselves irrelevant. It's the same in the business world. When this happened back in 2011, companies all over Canada m...

BartSimpson BartSimpson:
And that's exactly why we have the Second Amendment is to defend ourselves from an out of control and murderous government and its officers.

The second amendment has been a miserable failure. Not sure why you keep referring to it as a good thing.

The best part of this is the union claiming that women in rural areas make less than men in urban areas. What a terrible comparison. It should be compared to men in rural areas. Even if the rate it different, which is shouldn't be.... Why would the union purposely negotiate and settle on a lower rat...

At the moment, I would not say there is a 'right' guy, or girl. Not in Alberta politics at least. But Kenney, who has voiced opposition to views that Albertans show they are in favour of; like assisted death, pot legalization and LGBTQ rights, has shown he's the wrong person. He'd work as leader of...

I don't get Conservatives in Canada these days....

Keep trotting out these tired old politicians with the hopes they'll win based on name alone.

At least the Ontario PC's finally got it right.

The usual hyperventilating by the Sun. What exactly has BLM Ontario done that is so radical or disruptive? I haven't heard of any violence coming from them and as the article itself admits, they have a point about carding. Plus with their latest stunt they just shot themselves in foot as far as leg...

I'm sure that I'm going to get another one of your rage-filled responses again to this but whatever. There's something genuinely dark and wrong inside your brain, moreso than anyone else on this forum. I'm not going to bother talking to you again. And that's not because I'm scared of you or that an...

Listen to her mom and then let mom calm her down first? Don't auto deploy an NFL grade tackle on some who clearly isn't a threat to anyone? This was a girl with diminished faculties (with her guardian right there telling them so) having a panic attack surrounded by guards and cops who were under no...

I've been the victim of police brutality and all that comes after it. Then for Christ's sake show some fucking empathy. Empathy does not equal shitting all over TSA workers doing their jobs. As I have said previous, Mom could have prevented all of this had she taken the 5 minutes to properly inform...
