True, Germany, New Zealand, Scotland, Wales. They're all know as shit-holes with terrible economies, unhappy residents, poor quality of life and tons of inequality. Then of course you have all the other 3rd world countries running variations of proportional representation like Australia, Austria, D...

" Son, stay clear of women who fight the most basic principles of economics. Let other men learn them. " "It was absurd," she said. "Why do you get to dictate what's underneath my clothes?" " --because I sign your paycheck. " I am sorry but that does not cut ...

Child abuse charges against Lucas Morton, Subhannah Wahhaj and Hujrah Wahhaj were dropped because prosecutors missed the 10-day limit for an evidentiary hearing to establish probable cause. I've heard about this and while it's pissed off some of my friends I've supported the judge. New Mexico put t...

Now we can wait for the bands who signed off on this project and who are impacted directly by it to sue someones ass off for their loss of income like they did with the Northern Gateway pipeline and for the record I heartily agree with them. Only in Canada could a bunch of malcontents who aren't &q...

You're doing it again... If citing 1 congressman constitutes an "elected governing body", you could cite all the crazy BS Trump has shat out his mouth and claim that's the official law of the USA. Stop it. Keith Ellison may well replace Nancy Pelosi as the leader of the House Democrats th...

Christ dude. Don't go citing some fringe group to backup your belief that actual elected governing bodies believe immigration is a human right. Okay. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/the-new-guard-of-the-democratic-party-absolutely-supports-open-borders Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., isn’t ...

So to be clear - just for children born in Canada to citizens or permanent residents? Most of us would agree that the children of tourists should be excluded. I think any child of any Canadian citizen, born anywhere, is Canadian. It's not your fault if your wife goes into premature labour in Austra...

I don’t support so-called “automatic birthright” citizenship outright as a matter of principle. So you don't support your own citizenship? I support automatic birthright citizenship for children who have at least 1 Canadian parent, regardless of where that kid is born. I do not support automatic bi...

Just open your borders and let everyone in. Immigration is a human right, don't you know? Not sure anyone has ever claimed that. Freedom to travel is listed under the UN. Not freedom to go to any country you want and do whatever you want while there and get the benefits of that place for free. http...

They'll get it pushed through. It's just a couple of assessments to redo. Hell, now that we're the sole owners of something that expensive, you can bet they'll write a quickie law up if necessary to make that pipeline specifically legal.

BartSimpson BartSimpson:

Now you're trolling. Time to stop.

Lol. First rule of the playground. When the other kid gets angry over something dumb, or tries to make up rules that benefit only them, double down cause the fun has just begun.

Doesn't work on adults though. So there is that.

Oh, well. Bottom line here is the more you take control of your life the less you'll believe that some anonymous cabal of rich people care so much about you that they're conspiring to 'keep you down'. And the less you'll like socialism. You misunderstand why all the socialist countries menti...

Lol. So what you're saying is, you throw a tantrum when people apply logic to your nonsensical statements? Gotcha. [popcorn] There is no logic in straw man arguments. So what you're saying is I'm arguing with the straw man? https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/mis-wp-markattwood/wp-conten...

I don't understand why Google is even perceived to have a bias. The European Union thinks they do. http://theconversation.com/eus-antitrust-war-on-google-and-facebook-uses-abandoned-american-playbook-80659 On June 27, the European Union imposed a €2.4 billion (US$2.75 billion) fine on Google for gi...

A simple solution would be to setup a "kangaroo" court. Have every aslyum seeker immediately seen by a judge. If the case has merit, you can stay. If not, you get a free ticket home. Set an absolute limit of yearly asylum seekers, and anyone past that number, sorry, we aren't the world's ...
