Sebastien, You say that the people of Quebec and the people of their nation Canada don't get along? I beg to differ. The majority of Quebecers are federalist and soft separatists, when given the facts on the cost of separation, will never vote for separation.

Look back at t...

Sebastien,

No I am not afraid to have a discussion with you but what would be the point? I have asked you several questions many times here and you refuse to answer. Why will you not discuss the partition (division if it sounds a bit nicer) of Quebec?

...

Sebastien, please explain why you think I see YOU as a threat. You believe Canada is divisible, I believe Quebec is divisible. That is your right as a Canadian and it is my right as a Canadian. Would I have this right in a Republic of Whatever carved out of the former Province of Quebec?
...

...

Sebastien,

Just keep telling yourself that partition is 'just not valid' enough and you may believe it. But don't say I didn't warn you some day in the future when you wake up and there are negociations on whether Montreal will remain in the Canadian Province of Quebec or in...

Sebastien,
Come on Sebastian,

You write: Should I apologize for being Quebecois? I say, No, but should I?

I am happy the British did not kill the French settlers. Obviously the French factor gives Quebec it's flair. I love Montreal and i...

CMAB,

Thanks for posting the latest poll. Would it be possible, if you post results again, to also post the question asked. This is very important because most Quebecers when directly asked if they want to separate from Canada completely say no.

The ...

Sebastien,

What the hell difference does it make where I live in Canada. I am Canadian, you are Canadian. You have a right to be a separatist, I have a right to be federalist. You can say what you want about any part of Canada and so can I.

You write...

Sebastien,

You write that you find it very strange that I might be so attached to Quebec or 'that part' Montreal.

Are you not attached to Quebec or to Montreal? Is your attachment in any way superior to mine? Why?

By the way,...

No Sabastien,I don't want you to apoligize (you have nothing to apoligize for). But I would like you to answer 2 simple questions.

1. What should Canada be offering it's province of Quebec?
2. Why do you believe that Canada is divisible but the Canadian province ...

Hoser,

Your quote may be valid while Quebec is a part of Canada. Once Canada agrees to talk about the possible division of Canada all bets are off. Everything as we know it is up for change. Strange how separatists use bits and pieces of the constitution when it suits them b...

Sebastien,
You write that Canada hasn't offered the province anything since 1995? What exactly should the federal government be offering you?

Do you not get transfer payments, for instance? And remember when Quebec is partitioned those transfer payments stop.

Sebastien,

You write that you are tired of the constitutional crisis. Who is causing this crisis?

Also, do you have any stats on the actual number of Canadians in Quebec who want complete separation from Canada. I read somewhere that it is around 10...

Sebastien,

We don't want to stop you from having your country, but with all due respect you must come to realize that it will be a very small republic partitioned from the Canadian Province of Quebec. You have to realize that a referendum is simply a consultative process. I...

Samuel, the Bloc has been the official opposition before. This is nothing new for them. And it is not worrisome. They can do all they want to promote separatism but at the end of the day the Rule of Law will prevail and most Quebecers when they know the true cost of separatism will not vote for the ...
