Wow, the Mid East really lit up in the past few months. I wonder if the protesters in Bahrain will be able to win their grievances, or get crushed by Saudi (or as many of the commentors call; Saudi America and Israhell)* tank tracks. Any bets on which Mid East nation will lite up next? *referring to...

If the aliens in Battle: LA have such weapons then why didn't they just planetary bombard the planet? It make more sense to do it that way, but for Hollywood it doesn't make for good films. I don't know, but I'm guessing poor research on the part of the screenwriters! Most alien invasion nove...

[ Non-persistant bio/chem weapons would be very useful. Any group that can travel faster than light should be able to engineer something to which they would have immunity (think people and smallpox) and we would not. The other obvious alternative is to drop kinetic weapons (rocks) on every military...

[quote="bootlegga]Well, from what I understand, water is crucial to our own future space missions, because not only do we need it to live, it can be cracked into hydrogen for fuel and oxygen for us to breath. That's why announcements that they might have found ice on the moon are so important t...

Dayseed: Yeah, it seems odd to come all the way over here just to get our water, especially since they could've easily went to Neptune to get all the frozen water there, but Hollywood needs reasons for our planet's invasions, even if it's just to kill us all for the hell of it (ie: Independence Day,...

I went to the premier of Battle: Los Angeles last night, and all I can say is wow....simply wow. This was an awsome movie, and I strongly recommend people to go see it. The actors did a very good job in their respective military roles, especially Michelle Rodriguez, I thought she could never pull of...

WW2 online. Oh god, I remember playing the original game way back in 2001. It was a downer from the getgo. No actual command structure, rank, or order system, very limited weapon/vehicle inventories, no grand battles, a 70 meg download before you could even play the game (this was a time where the m...

I brought it into the geek squad at bestbuy, they had a look at it first before I was gonna pay them to fix it. After about 15 min they told me that it's impossible, they said the USB itself was internally damaged, I never dropped it once but they said with this specific usb, it can become unreliab...

Dune77. Try bringing your USB to FutureShop, Geek Squad, or some electronics/computer place like that. They might be able to help you out to recover the data you need. If you have any computer savy friends or classmates look at them for help as well.

Hope this helps.

Hi Regina, Canadian_Mind. I've been well. How bout you two? How have things been here since I've last been here...what a couple of years ago? Constitutional rights and freedoms can be tricky subjects to handle. Especially if dragged to into the court system. Yes, the Westboro Baptist Chruch does ha...

Why would there need to be a protest at a military funeral? By all common sense, Regina, there is no real need to have a protest at a military funeral. This is the kind of thing the Westboro Baptist Church and their leader Fred Phelps does on a regular basis. Their reasoning behind their acts is th...

Here are a few stinkers I've had the misfortune to see. Resident Evil: Afterlife - Terrible acting, special effects, awful plot. It just sucked period. Not even renting it on Blu-Ray did that film any justice. The Last Airbender - Bad acting, really bad dialogue, lousy 3D effects, hurried plot, the ...

Admiral Cain and her crew are nothing more but monsters and should be spaced. I'm glad that a shitload of the Pegasus' crew were killed when Captain Apollo brought the ship to New Caprica to rescue the Galactica.

I have, we armoured-trainiee (at the time) types tore it apart. 6 inches of steel, any kind of steel, woul have that car dragging it's ass the whole time. It would also take a 76mm Sabot round to ever shoot through the fucking thing, or an 82mm rocket or RPG-7,but those are minor details. Awesome a...
