Well, I mean shit. Obviously if you broke the law, it wasn't bad enough to deserve a real prison sentence. Fuck, if you don't belong in jail then you shouldn't be there. You're basically on some sort of fucked up probation. Big deal. Yeah, he prolly killed someone, Canadian justice system and all....

America is poised to elect Obama as its President. If you believe the polls that have historically been wrong and biased in favor of the Democrat. Based on the historical performance of the polls I'm expecting McCain to win by 3-5 points. This is not correct. I was tracking all the polls in the 200...

It probably will drop further, but what could happen is that if we have another 30% to go on the graph, home prices might fall 15% while inflation rises 15% to make up that 30% gap.

Or they could fall 40%. Who knows.

This might happen.

Or it might not.

It can be a little dangerous to project based on prior history. What could is that home prices fall to above trend then inflation grows to lower valuation.

Frankly, I'd pissed if I were a Green Party member and especially if I were candidate when she said that people should vote whomever had the best chance of beating Harper. If I spent my hard-earned money and was spending dozens and dozens of hours campaigning only to have my leader suggest that peop...

Hey, I'm all for Benny giving the ol' college try. I think we should encourage him.

Don't give up Benny! Keep at it. Don't let anyone tell you it will fail. Try and get as much media exposure as you can!

The issue of voter turnout is structural and is not endemic only to Canada. Voting participation has been trending down for decades in the established democracies. I'm not entirely sure why but I think part of it has to do with the fact that people have more choices to do stuff. Politics is about en...
