The Liberals act like this problem will spring up all of a sudden. Last I checked we have never had a day-care program... Where's the problem?

Arctic Menace, fixed elections would not take away the constitution right parliament has to confidence votes. If a government truely gets corrupt enoguh, it would be overthrown. The Liberals did save our economy, and that was reason to re-elect them back in 1997. Running on this idea is the same as ...

The less a company is paying in taxes, the more capital it has to expand, hire new employees and increase profits.

These tax cuts are being used because the federal government is having no problem keeping its commitments. Believe it or not Robair, people actually like to keep their own money.

The border one is a great example of where federal involvement is nessecary. It's a fact though, that provnices take from the feds all the time to fund their provinical hgihway systems for example.

Doesn't go far enough, but with three leftist opposition parties I guess they've gotta make sacrifices. This budget could very well fit into a Liberal plan. Given the 13% increase in spending last year when the Liberals were out buying votes, we should have seen much less new spending now. He did wh...

Having the federal government tax just to send it off again simply wastes money in the administration of the whole thing. Let the feds cut the taxes so the provinces can raise thier own and cover the whole thing directly, rather than throguh this excessive burracracy we have now. Too bad most politi...

Corprate tax cuts create jobs, that's a fact.

MissT, I do not support big miltary spending, and no one in this topic even mentioned it.

The federal government should not be focusing on provincial infrastructure at all.

Stephen Harper isn't going far enough in my opinion. As Canadians we shouldn't be scared of cutting wasteful and ineffective spending. The middle class is paying close to 50% in total taxes, but Canada simply doesn't have the programs and quality of life to show for that.

There's a reason that this action is illegal, and few people seem to want to debate this fact. However, many on the left still think it's "not nice" to send these people, who are breaking the law, packing. Too bad, so sad. If they are really essential to our economy then they could immigra...

I would without an ounce of worry or regret. If our country is unwilling to defend our property rights in this situation, then who knows how many more of these blockades will erupt aroudn the country. I find it quite ironic that one fellow talks all that rhetoric about how Canada is treating him as ...

I find it funny how some people say the US has so many problems because it's overcrowed... yet Europe has more people crammed into a smaller area. And Canadians call Americans ignorant.
