I think what is most ridiculous is that ANY dog can become a bad dog under the wrong ownership. I've seen Gold Retrievers and Labradors turn on people under owners who didn't give a rat's ass.

I don't like Pit bulls personally, but that doesn't mean they should be banned.

Neither of the past two World Wars represented a real threat to Canada. WWIII would more likely be with China. When the US sets to with China, they'll look back nostaligically at the days when all they had to worry about was a few soldiers getting knocked off in Iraq or a few hundred citizens getti...

Reading the posts through this thread has been really interesting. I too don't feel that I've ever had Germany taught to me in a unfavourable light. I mean, what country hasn't had a bad chapter in history?? Canada's got more than her share. Germany's made plently of mistakes, but through no fault o...

Did that word make you look? :D I can't remember if I've ever posted in this area of CKA, so I thought I'd write a wee blip. I've been a member for awhile now. Originally from Fort McMurray Alberta, but now married and living in Scotland! (How far off is that from a little old oil town. Though I sup...

A friend of mine emailed me this article, and I have to say, the first thing I thought was 'Good lord, CKA forums are going to go crazy over this' lol (I'm a Canadian living in Scotland) I sent it to a couple of my coworkers and their reactions were great! I won't repeat them here, for the sake of s...

Robair Robair:
Yep, he can act. I was a fan of Due South, funny stuff. Kinda off the wall.

I'm not clear if he'll actually be acting in this film or just producing it...

He's producing, directing and playing the lead role of his grandfather.

Actually, its Wales that are the World Champions, at least with the Six Nations. They kicked England's ass (rightfully so lol) In Rugby there is no such thing as 'Brit' unless you're referring to the Lions, but even then it's four nations under one banner. Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland. Just ...

The All Blacks are sensational I have to say. Daniel Carter is the best Fly half I've ever seen (which is admitted a bit guiltily because my favorite player is Ronan O'Gara from the Ireland/Munster) Canada has a lot of potential, but the coaching sucks. Which is why I lambasted them with the email w...
