And maybe there is a large anti-american attitude in scho...

Oh ok. So killing American kids is a funny matter. Well...that's all I need to know. LOL..no, we don't think its funny, moron. Deaths of kids is never funny. They were making fun of you. And If you are too stupid to realise that and you turn it into a "Canadians hate Americans" thing, you truly are...

I'm sorry, I have to say somthing. Godz, I AM a Canadian high school student, and I can tell you right now that myself, along with all my friends, think this kid has a screwloose. NONE of us hate Americans. I would personally consider myself a left-wing thinker who preferes socialistic values over r...

So the sensless slaughter of the Jews was not a primary cause of WW2? Interesting Ok let me point out a few things. 1) You completly flipped what I said. I said WWII was not a primary cause of the sensless slaughter of Jews, not the other way around. 2) The Final Solution wasn't adapted till after ...

as UNAMIR was a PK operation, not a battle operation. ---------------------------------------------------------- When you are deployed, you are deployed as a soldier, I wish people would get this ridiculous "peacekeeper" mentality out of their heads I fully agree. But regardless of whether or not y...

The objective in Rwanda was to completly annihilate the Tutsis ------------------------------------------------------------------- So I guess the Nazis really didn't have the same plans for the Jews? Oh, indeed they did. But saying the 6+ million Jews and other minorities were killed as "causualtie...

WWII was being fought for a reason. Though cities were indeed targets, the wholesale murder of civilians was not the overall objective, just a means to an end (and no, that doesn't justy it, but...). Once the German military surrenderd, bombings on civilians stopped. There was no bombing of civilian...

The fact of the matter is that when it counted Dallaire failed. His failure cost 10 Belgian paras their life.

Typical western attitude. Nevermind the 800,000 Rwandans.

Dallaire did try to do somthing. While I'm not going to sit here and argue whether or not he was a bad commander, one of Dallaire's major problems was that he was not political. He had no idea how to get the UN to see his point of view, and thus never recieved any of the support he needed from the w...
