Hey guys, if you had to pick ONE attraction to see in Calgary, what would it be??

And, does anyone know if the Air&Space museum or the Av Roe museum is worth seeing? The people at the Tourist information centre had never even heard of the Av-roe museum...

BTW HI FROM CALGARY OMG

That's a real easy one, Trev. Hi-way 2 NORTH TO EDMONTON !!

And turn east at Innisfail!

Somedays I would spend all day driving the grader from Trochu to Pine valley,or Castor,to do a mile of road after a rig move. Brand new 140 cat,air conditioning and stereo.Sweet job but away from home too long. The gal I replaced on the cat/hoe had logged 110 days straight, could be why she quit. :o Me too! :o

Lease roads and county roads, the only way the MD would let them move a rig in when road bans were on is if they graded it after, thats what I did when I wasnt building leases. Busy,busy,13 hour days,on call 24/7,sleeping in the back seat of the crewcab on the leases.

Fuck that!

Sometimes I would be making my second pass and see another grader coming at me doing a first pass out of the ditch,I have a windrow on the road allready so cant figure out why he keeps grading my road,we finally meet,I climb up in his grader and we compare maps, guess the oil/gas company doest tell the MD what roads their going to grade. They hire farmers for about $12.00/hour and show them where the blade levers are and let them go. Drove me nuts, these guys grading my road after i just graded it.

Yeah the Country privitized their road maintaining with private contracter's graders now and man they suck. They don't want to wear them blades down to much cause they have to pay for them and only making about $60 a hour for the grader.

Hear ya,we were getting $110.00/hr so not bad.

I would wear out a set of edges in 2 days. You have to cut that washboard, not just smooth it down.

The Chinese pavement was the worse, take out a set of edges in a half day.

When your roading it and your blades are crowned, have you ever dragged your blades on the Highway to grind them down flatter. I did that around Bow City on 32 and started a paririe fire, but just in the ditch it couldn't cross the fire brakes lol
