It's a piggery downtown these days especially after winter. The city needs to get the streets cleaned, pick up the garbage and wash the sidewalks.

No different in Calgary, at least in Edmonton you have snow removal in Calgary they just dump gravel on top of the snow. They are only just starting to pick up all that crud, it usually takes until June because our city hall is full of incompetent career Alderman and a dumbass mayor.

They do the Rock Salting pretty much everywhere, along with snow removal.

I wasn't talking about salt I meant gravel, the windshield smashing and paint chipping kind.

I agree, get 'er cleaned up fer gawd's sake. The place is a pig sty. And while they're at it give the road signs a washdown. Who can read those filthy signs, especially at night. It's a road hazard. C'mon Edmonton, use some of that oil money and take a little pride in your city. Sheesh.
