Not unless he was digging in the snow on the north coast/Alaska or skulking in the rainforest.

Anyway, he was likely in CADPAT so I wouldn't have seen him on the way to the hotsprings...

You need a 70-200 F4L on that Rebel! (Plus a 67 mm circular polarizer for the skies!)

I hear ya. I'm still fiddling in manual which is why I need good editing software. Maybe I'll try and take a course too.

It is a tough job though! I didn't get any pictures of the boat attacks we had to do in 2 - 3m seas in my little 5m RHIB. I was pissin' blood for a while with my telescoped spine...

I sailed a post-trump 280 and hated it so I agree with you on that one.

I always shoot manual and RAW. A cir-pol will make those skys bluer. Don't skimp though, B&W, Heliopan or Rodenstock.
Get that 70-200 F4. I have the IS version, very sharp and perfect for shots from the dinghy, er boat, er ship thingy.
