I wish we could get past this nonsense regarding certain people having special status based on the colour of their skin. Do we need a colour chart to match you against?

Interesting that Canada does not reciprocate for American Indians (smart).
I have heard something similar regarding Indian rights to cross the U.S. - Mexican border that has recently gotten confused.
Have to admit, it can be confusing being an indian, having to decide whether to go kill something with a stone tipped spear or ... to have a few drinks of fire water at the casino while reviewing their stock portfolios.

If you are a Canadian with at least 50 percent aboriginal blood, you have the right to:
• Cross the U.S./Canadian border freely.
• Live and work in the United States and be eligible for public benefits such as Medicaid and Supplemental Security Income.
• Register for college or a university in the United States as a domestic rather than foreign student.
You do not have to:
• Obtain a work permit to hold a job in the United States.
• Register for the military.
The U.S. government cannot:
• Keep you out of the United States or deport you.
