Please explain how it is inevitable, really everybody keep saying its going to happen. Theres no stopping it, its inevitable but they never state there bases of why it's inevitable. Maybe the U.S. merges with Canada instead? Maybe Canada merged with the EU? You don't know. Only future history will.
Is it inevitable because one day we will become a type 1 civilization? Again, how do you know it will be with the U.S.?

Who ever thought there would be a European Union..They were not all for it. And they have more cultural differences between them than Canada and the U.S. has..
It's inevitable because if you look in history countries have always (invaded) merged and broke up. Its like a relationship..Just human nature...
Now a days issues are more compressed. There is more population less resources and far more powerful weapons. The smallest country with a nuke now has negotiating power..
How these two countries merge and how long it may take are from an endless number of possibilities that could be set in motion from future events..Like what would happen if Israel attacks Iran. Just that event would effect you life..And there are many more issues out there that are smouldering..Like the over inflated U.S. dollar.
Yes I have heard of the Roman Empire, and do you actually know why they died? They constantly faught for land, and took pretty much all of europe. They took so much land that they couldn't even defend it. Because the Roman Empire took lands by conquering them, they started a bunch of rebelians for there land like the Britons. Before you know it, the Roman Empire was surrounded by a Barbarian Invasion. Because the Roman Army was stretched thin protecting its vast borders. They diddn't have the man power to repel this invasion. Not to mention that Roman Empire was severly corrupt. Point being? Nobody wanted to be invaded by the Roman Empire and nobody wanted to be conquered by the Roman Empire. Since you are such a history buff, lets look at the History of Scotland since its a better resemblance to the NAU.
Back in the old days, Scotland was a soviern nation in the land called Scotland. Unfortunetly for them, the scotish noblemen signed away there country to the British that was pretty much like the NAU argeement except worse. The citizens never had a say in this agreement, it was just awayed without there concent. To this day, the Scotish are still trying to win back there soviernty.
Now for the EU, why don't you actually research them. Majority of the countries in EU are unhappy with it. But hey, where the EU went wrong the NAU will go right, right?
As for the rest of your statement, that seriously made no sense. How would the fact if Israel Attacking Iran effect me? Further more, what does that got to do with NAU and how it is inevitable?
