LMAO !!! Just downloaded the "talking to Americans" mpgs. My husband is gonna kill himself laughing. Told him about This Hour Has 22 Minutes, but you gotta hear em to really appreciate it. This site is the "funnest" ever. LOL

natooke..Stupid question but..Which part of Sweden are you in. I have never been there but have relatives living there. I think they are around Jonkoping (sp).

what makes you think Canadian feel a need to have more world recognition than they already have?

the united states has laways overshadowed canada and I think that canada is fairly resentful of that. even when talking about WWII many canadians are resentful that canada doesn't really get mentioned a whole lot. with the two competing countries I just feel that canad is somewhat resentful of the US. as a nationality canada hasn't really strongly idenitifed itself in the world. most of the populatin sits within inches of the border and I think that canadians tend to scoff at the united stated for tha amount of recognition it's recieved in the world community. this isn't a new feeling of mine with the bush administration so try not to discredit my opinion with that.
canada will try to rise from the Us's demise. the worse th US looks the better canada wil appear. I tend to get irritated with canadian setiments simply because canada is so dependant on the Us. it seems to be feeding on the Us for it's own agenda. take all of the good things and simply criticize in return. that's just my opinion
