It would be especially impressive in the fort. A proper parade square inside those walls. The sound must almost come across like shots.

Watching them do their stuff, I always think about how hard it is to get 30 people to just march in step let alone march straight and do fancy things like turns...... I am always in awe of these guys. Them and the Tomb of the Unknowns Guard in Arlington. For those of us who have done drill, to see it done that well is always a jaw dropper.

Actually the Brits put on a good show of precision drill, with their "changing of the guard".

"The OLD Guard" at Arlington, is superb........

I've actually seen the French "curaisers" at Versailles put on a pretty good show. Big on trumpets.

That's why they say...

The few, the proud, the Marines!!!

I would love to see them perform at FH.

Anyone ever see the Tattoo there. Most impressive.

That Fort was built for Pipes and Drums.

Navy guys do drill? So that's what that was! I thought it was just a horde shambling along. Nothing certainly resembling anything out of the Drill manual. You ever consider doing stand-up? PDT_Armataz_01_11

Nothing funnier for a Cbt Arms NCO than watching the flailing and flinching of the other trades over the drill test on the SLC. Free marks, yay!

You've never saw the PPCLI as the guard at Buckingham Palace, have you?

In cadets, we call that precision drill.
