This is something fun we have done in the past, and many forums do.
We will choose the "Topic of the Year" depending on what is put forward we could have different categorys.
This thread is for people to nominate and discuss what they think is the CKA forum topic of the year.
The topic has to have been started in 2006.
Please follow this format when nominationg threads: (note the topic is bold and in large font, to make it stand out from other posts)

is because it took everyone through many issues of taxes, rights, war ,foreign war , multiculturalism, history etc and examined many areas of morals to a very broad range . It was also very strong on supporting information from most posters . of course there was alot of arguing and name calling but for some odd reason the content was all there .

...and although there were many topics and I might want to change my mind I'll just stick with this one because it really stands out most to me .
Although it is a thread that I started, I think it brought on some very intelligent discussion about Canada, unity and the entire Quebec "issue".

I would agree, but most of those develop into flame wars, and that is like half the thread.

There was a thread about daycare and the effects it has on children, I think that was a really good one because for a while there it had a lot of intelligent discussion.

I think going after the thread with the most posts would end this in forum games . But that would really suck if it did .It would be kinda pointless.
