Is it just me, or has it seemed a litttle dead around for the last month? I don't see many new topics and the number of replies to topics seems down. Maybe it's summer vacations.

It's probably that. It's summertime and people go on vacation or get out of the house, or in my case, start working more.

Here... the large spike in the posts in March was the Spam-contest.

The trend in post counts is otherwise remarkably similar, but the topic numbers have been going down steadily.

It's not just you - I've noticed the same thing.

I think it's the summer. I think most message boards take a downward turn during the summer. Soon as the chill creeps in everyone brain heats up.

Definitely the summer vacation syndrome. Happens at the end of June and continues till the end of August. Most forums and online gaming go for a dip when holidays arrive. I've noticed the chat room here has taken away from the forums as well. Much more of the idle chit-chat is in there rather than in the forums.

Actually by my statistics the forums have been pretty active. It is true that usualy in the summer posting drops a bit, and it has by around 50% for most the forums i track. But for CKA posting is up from previous months. I track the total posts from a bunch of the top Canadian forums each month, to see how CKA is doing. I will share a bit of my data for the time period May 22nd- July 7th
The most interesting data is the growth rate, CKA has been outposting the others by a large margin every month this year.
