So this is hard to exlain and I dont know if I am posting right but...I'm already a member here so no harm asking.....I have posted more about myself relocating to Canada, you can see my old posts, i have run into trouble with my ex and contact with children etc.
Sooo, my man is wanting to come here to Australia ( maybe I can still move to Canada if court allows me to)...anyway we need advice on how our intended marriage here in a few short weeks will affect the unsettled issues with his ex, and property and spousal etc in Canada? and if he relocates here without settling at all.....will he be in strife for that...reason i ask is that she has been stalling for months, wont sign papers, but she will wanto AFTER he relocates just to be difficult. At the moment he is still inside Canada, just visiting here to marry, and he is paying her child support only....she just will not settle and he doesnt want to do that in court.
Thnx...

A Lawyer would be good to consult. A Canadian Lawyer.

Jebus is this the guy you spent one month with you guys move quick If he has unsettled issues like spousal and property are you even sure he is legally divorced. I don't know a lot about Canadian divorce law, but I think that stuff is settled prior to the divorce being handed down. I think I would be looking into that if I were you!

Hiya I guess I should have mentioned he hasn't ever been married this is a common law settlement, and people may think we move fast, but im not getting any younger, most of my kids are grown and we've known each other almost a year now...not that I owe any explainations, or justifications...we are inlove, it's as simple as that....he is flying here next week because he missed me, we wanto marry sooner rather than later because we are certain. We just need a little help.
