This just in from a friend at Coast Guard Air Station Sacramento is that the Russians are apparently conducting a search about 450-500 nautical miles off of the Oregon-Washington coast (approximately due west of Astoria). Yesterday a flight of eight aircraft had been observed enroute from Dolinsk-Sokol likely to Venezuela and something happened and seven aircraft were observed RTB. No confirmation at this point but there's reportedly two Bears in a SAR pattern in the area. USCG is sending a C-130 to observe.

That's a long way from home to maintain aircraft doing search grids. Who's refueling them? People's Republic of California?

Nearest Bears and Gas Cans and that location of the Party puts the Russian's coming from there UHPP Base. The Gas Cans maybe the new type improved Il76 Re engines. This what I know from USMC/USN pilots Scuttlebutt at NAS Fallon. Strange enough is the USN didn't pounce in and the USCG was called in Hummm??????
