I'm assuming that the latest Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla who's running that Islamic Paradise will now be holding an inquiry as to why the Norks highly advanced guidance system didn't hit Guam like it was programmed to.

And my heart goes out to the families of the sailors who lost their lives in this tragedy. RIP [B-o]

From what I've read, the missile actually worked exactly as intended. The ship that was tragically hit was laying decoys, the missile ignored them all and hit the ship.

Actually you're right because it did hit the target it was intended to. The only problem is that somebody or something may have accidentally fucked up because surface to surface missiles are supposed to lock onto the targets that the ops room designates which means they don't normally hit ships putting out drones.

So despite what the media is saying about this being nothing more than an accident, there's more to the Story. My guess is that it was likely human error or a computer glitch that caused the missile to target the ship. Which, is why I so sarcastically said the Nork's guidance system could be at fault especially since they've shown a very large lack of success when aiming things like their intercontinental ballistic missiles.

And yes the media is right and it likely was an accident but given the Iranian military's propensity for shooting down things weren't supposed to, i'm once again leaning towards a human cause.
