hey god, remember that when joe's wanted better wages and working conditions, unions, who was there to block them. Ask yourself how this sudden increase in the middle income group changed the 20th century. That being said, we should never send our troops underequipped. Who cares what other countries think. It's just disrespectful to the soldiers who are willing to go through shit to fight for their country and what they believe in.

Jerry I have to agree with you there ! I have family in the cnd military one went to desert storm and he came back messed up ! Our gov wants all these soldiers to work but yet we are under funded and underpaid ! I mean Crap!! Most of them are living in poverty and have to get their wives to work 2 jobs just to pay the bills and keep food in their kids stomachs ! I am so fed up with this it makes me sick our soldiers should not have to deal with such things they are protecting us and others . They themselves should have what they need to properly carry out their missions and be safe , none of this hand me down mil equipt and supplies ! ERRR makes me so mad

remember that helicopter a while back that crashed and should have been a write-off but we couldn't afford to get a replacement so we had to rebuild the thing? i agree, give our men and women in uniform equipment so they can do their job and feel as safe as possible.
Granted things are getting better with our modern CF-18 fighters, the new camo uniforms for our ground troops, and the new surface ships that we have. but when you hear about our new used subs catching on fire on their first trip over from England, you can't help but hang your head in shame
