Does anyone know of any good Canadian patriotic music? Been looking around but I'm not sure what artists to look for. New Brunswick/Maritime stuff would be nice.

If you're looking for something Canadian and from the maritimes that represents Canada, look no futher than Stompin' Tom Connors from Skinner's Pond PEI. Pretty much every song he has written wll be accepted on te board.

If you want something funny and in music try the Arrogant Worms. Some of their stuff is patriotic and funny.

Also the hip are a good old Canadian band, with songs about the praires and such.

Also spirit of the west is good.

Yes I have a number of Arrogant Worms songs, as well as a few songs from the REAL authors of the War of 1812 song, Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie. (They also did the great song The Canada Song). Right now I'm looking for more serious stuff. I also know of Rita McNeil and Men of the Deeps.

Well if we want to stretch it, I have a song called O Canada (not THE O Canada), by an American group called Five Iron Frenzy. Good song, although they butchered the phrase 'si vous plait'.

Someone recently hooked me up with the new Molson 'Anthem'. That's a great song, although kinda short. Anthem really needs to be posted on this fine site.
