I used to play the piano when I was younger. But it's been at least a decade since since I've touched one. I still know some the basic chords but that's about it.

Oh, I also play some mean air drums. :P

I play guitar. Probably been playing for like 7-8 years. I still play daily. At least like an hour a day, although there are some sessions which can go on for hours.

Oh cool!

Have you ever noticed that drummers get picked on? Like why did that drummer ____ ect... It seems that a lot of music jokes are based on drummers.

Air drums or pretty cool, have you ever played the timpani? Whenever I hear the timpani I get goose bumps! The Timpani is my favourite drum.

I wish I had taken up an instrument. My dad is quite good on acoustic guitar and I'd love for him to show me some stuff. I can't seem to be able to control all 12 strings at once, gotta start on a 6. I'd like to know how to play an instrument that you can play around a campfire (guitar, sax, flute thingys , trumpet, etc)

I actually find a 12 string to not be that hard to play. It's almost the same as playing a 6string because the 2nd string that is beside every string is so thin that it's easy to press down 2 at once.

What do you call a guy that hangs out with musicians all the time? Drummer.

Played drums in highschool, piano before that.

Dropped them both in the spring of '95 when I got my first guitar been playing that ever since.

Was playing lead semi-regularily in a cover/southern rock band untill a couple months ago when work got nuts... (ZZ Top, Lynard Skynard, Black Crows... tried to teach them some Hip, but it didn't take. )

Drums for me,great stress reliever.
Harmonica also.
Some piano, wish I would have listened to the pianist years ago cuz I'm not that good but my mom and sis can sit down and bang out Supertramp and it gives me goosebumps.

Before cancer got my bud he had a jam going at his house allmost everynight,he was into blues and sporting a 3/4 inch deep socket on his finger for a slide he could make any guitar sing but his fav was the Dobro.

At his wake we played one of his recordings and all his buds were there playing along one last time.
One last jam,it was like he was still there. :(

I'm the proud owner of an old unplayable Rickenbacker (badly needs fret job and truss rod adjustment). I also have a fairly cheapo Yamaha classical guitar which I still muck around on every now and then.

I also play a little piano and violin, both very badly!!! I am, however, very proficient on the tambourine...

Learn the acoustic guitar and you will be loved around any campfire.

I used to play piano, guitar, trumpet and clarinet. I am way to busy chasing 2 young children to do any of that now. My kids will be learning piano in the near future. My sister teaches piano, she has her grade 8 from the Royal Conservatory and is taking her grade 9.

I used to play piano and baritone back in the elementary school days. But those are long since past...
