The only way the west would have a chance in having a say of who will gets to be the next PM is if the playing field was about tied when it crosses the Manitoba / Ontario border. Martin will never get my vote no matter what he spens on the west. I don't trust him and I don't trust Layton either. The Bloc is totaly out of the question so that only leaves the Independents and the CPC. I vote on policy and what the LEADERS do not what they say. In my oppinion actions always speak louder than words. That doesn't always seem to be the case. Speeking about actions and the buying of votes. look at the nice little shower of loonies Ontario is getting. If that's not an attempt to try to and buy votes then I really don't know what is.

Ladies and gentlemen the peanut gallary has spoken.

Ubique.

Hey you see that is where we have something in common.

Those of us east of that line don't trust Harper. And surely you don't begrudge Ontario a few billion that they've been short changed over the years in transfer payments.
I mean after Harper gets in and builds his firewall around Alberta, Ontario's going to need those extra few billions to support the rest of the country.

Quite frankly... I work for DND, and right now Martin is promising greatly needed equipments; well, he's got my vote. Don't want to take the chance to see these expensive items go away. The way I see it, don't want to take the chance to see a fellow soldier/fish head/aircrew die.

Unless somebody else is gonna guaranty us these items, I have to go Liberal.

Sorry guys.

everybody has beed short changed over the last while.

Harper isn't that bad I keep saying it. The Liberals are corrupt to the bone, and the NDP will bankrupt the country, if you see what there predeseors did in saskatchewan and BC. All the touchy feely things that they say they want to do is great but when it comes down to it, they cost you and they cost me.

History has shown us that, except for when Mulroney froze the incentives...

Harper is looking a bit more attractive now... I haven't read all his platform but my main issue is the military. Can't stand seing fellow "soldiers" because of old, aging equipment.

Oh hell, Harper can say that he wants to add 50 aircraft carriers, 44 new nuclear subs, 86 destroyers, a whole new fleet of aircraft for the Air Force, tanks.. the works.

And you know what.. not one Canadian would say that it isn't a good idea.

Except.. the only way that Harper will pay for it all is to run us into an U.S like defecit while gutting all of our health care and the other traditional programs that we as Canadians cherish.

Is that the kind of legacy you all want to leave for your kids to deal with?

Harper's idea of a platform is to steal a page from Dubya's..

$1:
Do you will let buy our vote by Paul Martin ?

I will never vote for Paul Martin. This swindler and his maffia doesn't deserve to be our government.

Yah right, what then is your idea of a non-swindling maffia type government?
