Thanos Thanos:
Yes, because changing your mind is wrong, even after you've been fucked over and thrown to the dogs by the people you supported. You and OTI deserve each other. He's the SUN with the duh-duh nastiness and you're the CBC with the genuine burning hate.

Changing your mind is fine. No issue there.

Throwing a tantrum and blaming politicians for all your woes over and over again is tiresome.

No, I'm pretty sure among some around here that ever going against the party or a failed ideology is at the top of the list of unforgivable sins, in some kind of kooky 'once you're in, you're in for life' mentality. And that's an belief shared between the loyal left and staunch right wingers equally.

That it took you being "fucked over" does not reflect well on you. Seems to be all about you, not really caring about anybody else. Which is why I think you'll flip back just as fast if things improve for you again. Back to "I'm alright, Jack, I'm in the lifeboat."

Don't worry. Being able to change is a good thing, unlike andy who will always bear the same stench because he's a piece of shit.

Not worth worrying about. He's just another ideologue.

it's doubtful that the Dippers can make it any worse.
Yep, that's what the people of Ontario thought back in 1990.

They were wrong.

How soon everyone forgets that horrible mis-adventure. I really, really hope the NDP in Alberta doesn't use the Ontario NDP playbook.

Well, it's understandable if Albertans today aren't familiar with Ontario's experiment 25 years ago.

Wait, now it's about the comments section? I thought it was about the actual medium, what they put out. They're now responsible for the comments people post on their site?

I specifically mentioned the opinion page - I wouldn't hold any organization accountable for their comments section because it typically attracts shitiots spewing hatred and garbage.

On the Sun chain, almost everyone bitches about socialism and communists and on the CBC site, nearly everyone calls Harper a facist or something similar.

Then your argument fails. Cdo was talking about the slant of the Sun paper, or actually defending them from having an extreme slant. As you acknowledge, what people post on their opinion page isn't we directly relevant. I only know the CBC - CBC articles are posted by everyone here, even FD. Can't say I see much hate in them.

The farther you are to the right, the father left the CBC seems. Reality is the CBC is the middle. They're the most intellectual, the most credible and least biased news service anywhere in North America.

The Ceeb is staunchly on the "left" for things like women's rights, gay rights, aboriginal rights, all the holy causes. Politically they often go out of their way to try to swing right tho, because they are so often accused of being left.

I disagree. Women's rights, gay rights, aboriginal rights are issues about, well, rights. Individual rights and freedoms are libertarian values, going way back to Locke and Mill. Denying certain groups their individual rights isn't a righty thing so much as it's a religious thing.

It's seen as "left" in our society, but hence the "". You don't get many social conservatives on the left. It's probably where the animus against the Ceeb comes from - social conservatives who see these issues as "left". When Harper loses the election, I'm sure all the tightie righties will be glad to quote the Ceeb about all the attacks on Trudeau or Mulcair, all while calling the Ceeb a lefty mouthpiece.

ROTFL

Reality is the CBC is slightly left. Not NDP left but rather neo-Liberal left. As far as "most credible and least biased", I'd like a couple bags of whatever you're smoking.
