I want unicorns and ponys for everyone too but that just dosen't happen.

Please do elaborate how Iggy's master plan fails to meet the Tories plans...
...in detail.

Why don't you explain why you are now supporting a plan digging us into a debt you screamed the other parties platforms were going to do?

You might as well admit that you support harper no matter what he does and no matter how much damage he does to Canada.

Quite the reformer you are.

"Do as I say, not as I do".

Vote for stimulus bill, then complain that we're in deficit.

Accuse the other parties of having a plan designed to run a deficit and swear not to run one. Then run a massive one and blame the other parties.

The conservative agenda in action.

Look. We didn't reform EI to buy eastern votes.
We violated probation.
Call an election.

I'm in construction. Actually, I'm an estimator. I have not priced one project related to the stimulus package yet. Actually, I have hardly priced a project yet.
Unless you count the Walmart expansion, and you have to work for free on those projects anyway. There ain't much work out there, and what there is, its going cheap.

well maybe it depends where you are as in my travels there seems to be alot of construction work taking place in some areas but not as much in others . like i've been to parts of northern ontario like north bay and there was alot of construction there some examples included the highway 11 expansions , a new hospital is being built there and also a new childrens hospital/centre is being built . the hwy 11 and hospital were more provincial projects but the childrens hospital was being built with a mix of federal and provincial funds . the economy would be very dead there if not for these projects from what i saw . so there definity providing a boost .

None of those projects as far as i know are "stimulus projects"
The hospital was started 2 years ago.
If a project started a month or so ago, it may be a stimulus project. Anything already under construction was just regular spending.

Running us into a 30 or 50 billion dollar deficit for stimulus is stupid in my opinion. Stimulus projects have to be complete by 2011. Thats just too fast to plan anything worthwhile. Our city is trying to get stuff going with the money and they are going to run our city into deep financial troubles.

There are literally 3 projects within 5 minutes of my house....I'm just off the 401 in the Durham Region of Ontario and there are a TON of projects going on in our area. I think there's 12-13 within a 20 minute drive.

Where these just started by the so called stimulus package or where they in progress before.. ie post the start dates. There are lots of projects that are going on but they are by the private sector and have nothing to do with the government.. ie malls, apartment buildings and housing.
