In general, right wing people tend to be much more practical and less self entitled. Left leaning people tend to be more arrogant, thinking they can be parachuted into the top spot and do a better job.

Based on your post, I'm guessing you lean to the left...

Seriously though, generalizations are like assholes - everybody has one and they are full of shit!

Any other marvellous manufactured insights? Right-wing people tend to be better drivers, dancers, bakers, handymen and lovers, while left-wingers tend to eat kittens and beat their wives, perhaps?

Well, right wing people ARE usually better handymen. They are doers, not talkers. They understand sacrifice. All the lefty friends I have took jobs in tree planting, fish farming, or totally useless service industries while the right wingers are mechanics, construction industry workers, and various other trades. Things that contribute to the economy. I just can't dismiss this as simply anecdotal any more. I couldn't prove otherwise if I tried. Lefties want diplomas and degrees that parachute them into jobs where they essentially don't have to work very hard. Right wingers tend to accept that they have to be productive and feed the economic machine.

AM I generalizing? Of course. Doesn't mean I'm not right though.

Generalizations are essential to addressing reality. I'm tired of Libtards so arrogantly acting like it's ignorant to generalize. As long as you realize that not ALL of the group by law carries the trait you generalize the group to have, no racism or bigotry can come of it. Generalizations are based on how common something is within a group. A lot of women hate the word c*nt. Therefore, I can generalize and say "women hate the word c*nt", even when I know women who use the term themselves when angry and don't find it particularly offensive. The difference is that you require the generalization to be politically correct. It's politically correct to claim that women hate the word c*nt. I guarantee you wouldn't have called me out on that. Because you disagree with my generalization you made it an issue of generalization, and not reality.

No, I disagreed with your generalization simply because it was a generalization, not because I share a different political POV than you.

Generalizations and stereotypes have been used throughout history to target groups (racial, religious, political, etc) and as such they aren't worth a damn IMHO.

Greeks tend to be lazy, tax-evading whiners. They're quick to abandon their barstools only when a protest, and the promise of burning some some shit, is in the offing. Nothing says good citizenship like destroying public property, drunk, while simultaneously making a full-time job of sucking on the government teet. But at least the Greek women get a couple of hours break from the booze-fueled sexual harassment and assault when the men boys go marching vandalizing. Unfortunately, it awaits them again as soon as cops bust up the latest riot and send the cowards back to the pubs. Not that Danostases necessarily sounds like a Greek name and, surely, I wouldn't want to make any disparaging generalizations.

Thats ridiculous. Get out un the world a bit and stop assuming that getting a university degree means youe a lefty or lazy. How do you explain that unions, which represent coal miners, steel workerd, skilled tradesmen, factory workers, etc are all on the political left? Your claims aren't even worthmerit, you're trying to assign individual personality traits to an entire population based on their political views which is absurd.

Pretty sure I've gotten out in the real world, having becoming trade qualified, travelled to the other side of the world and back, been too college and now have a pretty technical job. I also use to be pretty Liberal so I know all the tactics.

Individual personality traits often do steer people towards political leanings. That's where we disagree. And I have worked in the trade world in and outside of unions. Although unions have served a great function in the past they have become politically corrupt and greedy entities. And In my experience the union workers were on average much less qualified, more lazy and socialist in comparison to the sub contractors that working on their own bidding on contracts.

How about YOU get out into the world and experience something!

If I had gone into the hard sciences it would have but I needed to make money and contribute to society instead. I studied the social sciences most of which are politically correct pseudo science heavily influenced by radical feminism.

It's been a while and I don't edit my posts before they go up. But nothing like using grammar or spelling to discredit the content of a post......coward.
