I'm having a hard time tracking down a list of the health concerns that are going to outweigh the cost of not arresting the 775,000 people cought for possession in the states last year.

Anyone have a stat on lung cancers, diseases, or other health issues that this article claims will cost us billions?

I'm curious of the simple cradle to grave cost of arresting and processing someone for pot possesion.

It is horseshit. The costs associated with tobacco far exceed drug costs and those are far exceeded by all the associated health problems caused by obesity.

That just leaves sex to give up. We'll say the same thing to everybody who drinks alcohol or coffee, smokes, or gambles. You can only have one vice so choose wisely.

I work in healthcare and I can tell you that statement is extremely in error. Try googling the cost associated with diabetes (a consequence of obesity) and cancer (consequence of smoking)

I can assure you the costs associated are far higher.
