since the game mods renamed the alliance to "Canada Kicks Aboot" since "Ass" is clearly such a horrible word. Do you think I should just rename the alliance to "CKA"?

having it just CKA might make it easier to recruit non-Canadians from in-game. But then again having the Canadian in the name could draw Canadians in-game to it.

It doesn't really matter to me, although having a bigger alliance is usually a better thing in these types of games.

Is this like O-Game where people can raid you in the middle of the night and steall all your stuff?

The suggestion I have it that maybe you should make this forum hidden so that non-CKA people can't get in here and see what we're talking about.

hmm since there is a 20 player cap to the alliance I will leave it for now. I dont think we'll have any trouble reaching 20. You get the cap raised as your alliance levels up.

The game has an alliance "clan-site" with news & forums, might be able to use that. There forums site is going so slow atm i can't really check it out.

hmm weird, others have joined after you so my area is no full. maybe just luck..

After reading the entire game guide, its pretty important to be close to your alliance. It takes a VERY LONG time to travel that kind of distance. And a huge benefit to being in the same alliance controled space is your troops move WAY faster in alliance controlled territory.

There are also aspects of this game where the entire alliance can work together towards the end of game "war of tears". unlike other browser games, there is an end to this, there are "seasons". And the season ends when the first alliance completes the war of tears stuff, i think.

It also makes sending caravans with resources or military aid pretty much impossible.

So if you think your going to be into this game, I would recommend trying to re-create a new account and see if your placed with the rest of us. And if you are you can then delete your first account.

Better to do that now, before you've invested any time. I know in Ikariam many people ended up uprooting there all there towns to move close to alliance mates, it makes a big difference.
