Withe very new King/Queen, the face on the coin changes. Soon enough, that will be Prince William, and Canadian Money will become sexy... Yeah there's a little problem called "PRINCE CHARLES". As I understand it, we'll get his goofy ass on our coins before William... At his current rate, his mother will outlast him.

For the majority it doesn't bother us at all. She's the Queen of Canada. Does it bother you that natural born British subjects are featured on your currency?

Jeez, it feels like you all are jumping down my throat, forget I said anything. Aw, we don't mean to be like that. So far, you seem like a pretty good Yank.

Thanks. But from what I gather from your post, "pretty good Yank", does that mean there haven't been many good ones that have come to this site?

Let's just say that half of them are nothing more than trolls... The few that stay tend to be the good ones.

I was implying with my post that we think of it as often as an American would when looking at a $10 bill. Which is probably not at all, correct?

Well, what I meant was seeing a person on YOUR money from another country must suck. I say it should be someone from your country. Well, technically, Washington, for example, should fall into that category because he was born in another country too (Virginia was part of British America).

The Queen is 100% Canadian. This is laid out in the Constitution of Canada, which is the supreme law in the Dominion of Canada.
It should be pointed out that Sir John McDonald(the $10 note), the first PM of Canada, was British and born in Scotland. In fact, Sir Wilfred Laurier($5) and Sir Robert Borden($100) were born and died British subjects. William Lyon Mackenzie King($50) was also born a British subject.
Also the $10 US note has Alexander Hamilton on it. He was British and born in the British West Indies - Nevis to be precise.

$1: "We will all commit suicide; this is not living," cries the mother of the girl, whose gang-rape occurred in Northern Afghanistan. I would have rather heard the father say he is going to take up arms and go kill himself some Taliban.
