Well, what I meant was seeing a person on YOUR money from another country must suck. I say it should be someone from your country.

Well, technically, Washington, for example, should fall into that category because he was born in another country too (Virginia was part of British America).

The Queen is 100% Canadian. This is laid out in the Constitution of Canada, which is the supreme law in the Dominion of Canada.

It should be pointed out that Sir John McDonald(the $10 note), the first PM of Canada, was British and born in Scotland. In fact, Sir Wilfred Laurier($5) and Sir Robert Borden($100) were born and died British subjects. William Lyon Mackenzie King($50) was also born a British subject.

Also the $10 US note has Alexander Hamilton on it. He was British and born in the British West Indies - Nevis to be precise.
