ShepherdsDog ShepherdsDog:
The MacDonalds just keep their privates warm by burying them into wool. The fact that it's still attached to a sheep, is a bonus for them.....you knew I was going to say it

The Campbells long ago gave up their privates when coupling with the English. Being natural catchers as opposed to pitchers, they really didn't need 'em anymore anyway.

True enough actually...but that was what I was told

Don't always listen to idiots. A kilt can be worn for whatever the person wants. Wedding, grad, fly fishing, or paint ball.

8O 8O Anyone who would be foolish enough to wear a kilt 'out on the field' is going to come away with a completely new understanding of the word 'paintball'!!!

Regina Regina:
In many cases a Kilt is considered traditional dress in Canada. The Canadian Highland Regiments use it all the time as do a number of Pipe and Drum Bands and have for a few hundred years on Canadian soil. Mid Eastern dress and the like have not been.

At graduation? Hmmm, I don't think so. The school had the rule "dress pants". I don't think this would be a news item if it was normal for everyone to wear their traditional garb to a graduation.

To a Scot a kilt IS dress pants...

I dunno, but I don't think people would appreciate a traditional Dutch costume... Or a niqab... Why would you want to wear that to your CANADIAN graduation? Just because your mom is Scottish?? :?

(Just pointing out the obvious bias...)

The kilt is generally not viewed as a tool of gender repression.

In the Black Watch women also wear the kilt...

Everybody should try wearing one.

I'm a French speaking Canadian, born in Montreal and even I've worn a Kilt.
An honorary McDougall, I am. :D

:? Hang around a bit more, learn about Canadian culture, and speak a bit less about it in judgement lest you be branded an idiot for commnents like that.

Try to wear a suit on your job that the guy on your avatar wears and you will understand what I mean.
