I recently saw that on the news. Disgraceful to see that an elected official would take part in these sort of activities, regardless!!! $1: Amir Khadir, who was elected to the legislature in this month’s provincial election under the banner of the leftist party Quebec Solidaire, was one of the first to throw a shoe. He said al-Zeidi’s actions were simply an expression of rage at the hundreds of thousands of deaths caused by the war. Quebec Solidaire is such a friggin joke. Amir Khadir should be sent back where he came from, let alone be elected into the Quebec Parliament. This is a complete joke.

Once he's out of office in 20 days or so, I think retards around the world will kill themselves from lack of anyone to bitch about.

Then why would you care if someone throws shoes at pictures of him?

Civil is expressing your outrage by tossing a boot at a picture.
Uncivil is killing, torturing, bombing, lying, cheating, stealing and murdering to get what you want. Where is your outrage?

It's more the fact that it is an elected official that acted in such manner.
He should know that any politician should behave in civility regardless of his/her opinion. He was elected to represent his constituents, that's it.
He is a noob politician that doesn't know any better. His role certainly is not by throwing shoes as an act of symbolism, it doesn't matter who the world leader is and that's not the point here.

So you get your panties in a bunch about one idiot throwing a show at a picture of Bush.
But another elected idiot starts a war based on lies and misinformation, resulting in the deaths of thousands of his own countrymen and many, many thousands of civilians including women and children...and you guys say nothing?
Seems like a bit of a double standard, especially when you say that Bush if "freeing" people there to express themselves in the exact same manner that you are condemning this elected official for.
It is pathetic and hypocritical to condemn this man and give Bush a pass.

Of course I am outraged. The same outrage I have for the Israelis for killing a few hundred Palestinians.
