Barilko Barilko:
Few people will talk about the Real Reason Canadian soldiers are dying-which is to prop up a corrupt govt that's intimately involved in the drug trade.

Everything else is just bull-it's all about drugs-Karzai's family are all in the drug business and he's Our Pal-what a disgrace!

Damn! First I've heard of this!

You should use one of these for a hat:

Image

They hold their form better than aluminium foil over cardboard and the crimped edges are great. They prevent the edges from tearing when you attach the skate-lace for the chin-strap. A aluminium Chinese food take-out dish works also.

Why? Are they not allowed to protest?

If they want to make asses of themselves, let 'em. They do have a right.

Don Cherry, I support you 100%. You remember the fallen soldiers, and broadcast their names, and that's as it should be. If it makes a few people uncomfortable,so be it! They should remember that freedom is obtained at a cost, and would they pay that cost? I doubt it.

Oh, the professional protesters have found another cause have they? They're not making headlines anymore chaining themselves to trees in BC so they had to find something else and this is the best they came up with? Must have been a slow news day when they had their executive meeting at Starbucks in Surrey.

I saw a bumper sticker that put it perfectly "If you aren't going to stand behind our troops, stand in front of them"

I never liked those stickers, people think it implies that soldiers will attack them if they do not support them. When really the best way to stop a Canadian solider is to have a line of unarmed civilians stand in front of them. :?

I suppose it catchier than saying "If you don't stand behind our troops, express your opinion on their affairs respectfully"

Agreed 100%! Those are the most asinine bumper stickers out there. [B-o]

Ah, to be back in the 70s, protesting the Vietnam war while going to university.
Sit-ins, long hair, girls in mini-skirts, "make love, not war" signs.

Fun times. :D

The good thing about a free society is that even these arse-hole anti-establishment wankers get a voice.

The other thing is that they see people like Don Cherry who are just remembering our fallen as a threat. Nobody is asking this rent-a-mob to sign up and fight, there are plenty of guys to do that for them but yet they see those who honour our war dead as a threat. Ah well....

Sheep, meet the sheepdogs that keep the wolves at bay so you can bleat, and bleat, and bleat. We'll protect you from the big, bad wolf.
