Perhaps they think its their country and we should be deflecting to their viewpoint?
If we aren't willing to adjust to their belief that we only fire on absolutely confirmed targets then we are encouraged to leave.
You know what? Rather then killing innocent afghans and justifying its for their own good why don't we just leave?

What's there viewpoint? That we should allow every single car to pass by, along with no security checks? No, the Afghans want the Taliban gone. In order to do that, they must do these little simple things. How hard is it to open up your car trunk for soldiers to search for a bomb? How hard is it to stop your car completly, and just stay there for a couple of minutes while a convey pulls through? Conveys are not slow pokes, they roll by fast.
Also we don't kill innocent as a justification and state its for there own good, however it is there fault they are dead. They are given strict rules to follow while on the road, do not drive by fast when a convey is passing by. That's not a hard task, hitting your breaks. However when the idiots don't do it, can't even apply a simple foot on a simple break peddle. It's there fault.
We are here to help train the ANA and ANP, so that the Afghan Government can have a well trained force to battle the Taliban and keep it out of the country. A thing that is viewed as being closed to accomplish, but not ready yet.
NATO repairs or sends in water filters so civilians can get fresh water to drink, we build irrigations so the starving Afghans can get food, or more food once farms are setup.
We build schools, so the afghan children can get a education, we build hospitals and supply them so the Afghan Civilians can get medical treatment.
I know you people all just want to bitch and complain about the war, oh a soldier got killed. Let's pull out, oh a afghan civilian died, let's pull out. I stumped by toe, let's pull out of the war.
However we are doing a lot of good over there, a thing that is never reported by news stations. All they worry about is soldiers deaths, and civilian deaths. All the negatives of the war, never the positives. Along with people like you.
The Taliban bomb innocent civilian populations, killing and wounding civilians in the mass's. They have been since we first got here, the same people that recruit little children. Either equip them with AK's and tell them they are fighting for god or strap a bomb to them and get them to suicide bomb themselves near NATO soldiers, a new strat that they are using out of desperation.
You would rather keep a group that has no sense of life for the people of Afghanistan, and has more civilian death counts on there hands then Canada or even NATO. A group that sends out little child soldiers to die, and purposly targets civilian populated areas. You would rather keep them in power, rather then sucking up a news article of a civilian death. Even though you are just reading it, and you diddn't even take the shot that killed him.
Personally, I would rather stay in Afghanistan for 100 years if that is what it takes. No terrorist group, or insurgency that is that immoral should be allowed to govern and threaten a whole country, allowing them to setup training camps. Guess what those camps will be used for? Spawning of more terrorists, aimed where? You got it, western countries including ours since we got involved in the war. If we don't fix Afghanistan, we will upset Afghanistan.
